Visalia is a city imprint Tulare field in California’s San Joaquin Valley. Visalia is one of the valley’s nicest towns and a good base to stay en saunter to Sequoia again Kings gully National Parks. Bypassed a century ago by the railroad (which goes now Hanford instead), the city is 5 miles east of Hwy 99, along Hwy 198. Its downtown – centered on the intersection of gavel jockey and Main Sts – has great old buildings and is a haunting build to stroll, day or obscurity.
