Cheshire is a wonderful choice for an English short break because of the huge variety of sights and activities on offer.There is no two ways about it, Cheshire is worth a visit, but you’ll need a hotel because one day is not enough.

After you’ve found a hotel, Cheshire will be ready and waiting to delight you with something for every season, whatever the weather. For example, sporty types might want to head to the countryside for a hike, or bike ride or there’s horse riding or boat trips.

Chester Zoo also has a wonderful botanical garden which really rounds off a great day out with the animals.

The Roman city of Chester is the perfect spot for history lovers.A wealth of historical sites and museums fill the city. The fashionable city also offers great shopping days as well as the races and beautiful river walks.

Visitors who bring their own car will find getting around this large county easier, but transport links are good. Location and accessibility are factors when choosing a hotel, Cheshire has a lot! Perhaps the most luxurious hotel Cheshire can offer is Crewe Hall which is a historical and architectural dream.
